Advancing innovation in Lleida: our experience at Formnext 2025
From 18 to 21 November, we returned to Frankfurt for Formnext, the leading international trade fair dedicated to additive manufacturing and advanced production technologies. This year was special: the fair celebrated its tenth edition and closed with record participation, welcoming 804 exhibitors—61% from abroad—and 38,282 professional visitors, almost half from outside Germany. These figures confirm that additive manufacturing is no longer a promise for the future, but an established industrial reality.
This edition was also particularly significant for our ecosystem: Spain was the partner country of Formnext 2025, with a strong presence of companies, technology centres and startups. Taking part as a company from Lleida strengthens our region's role in a sector that is shaping the future of industrial production.
With our own stand in Hall 11.1 (A43), we used the four days to demonstrate Fabrex firsthand. We gave personalised demonstrations to companies we had already been speaking with before the fair, using real cases to show the platform's new tools and all the improvements introduced during the year. One development we are particularly proud of is the integration between the MES and CRM. It allows information to flow smoothly from the customer's request through planning and shop-floor execution, without duplicating data or losing traceability along the way.
Demonstrating all of this live to professionals who know the sector thoroughly is the best possible validation. At Formnext 2025, we strengthened existing relationships, met new companies, established international contacts and explored new collaborations with manufacturers and service bureaus from several countries. We returned with ongoing conversations, new insights and a clear idea of the path we want to follow.
We are deeply grateful for this institutional support, which strengthens the innovative capacity of companies in Lleida and motivates us to keep taking our project further.
