Bring your factory to life with Resource Management

Machines and materials as first-class resources
Define the core assets that power your production lines:
- Machines: the equipment executing your processes
- Materials: what those machines consume
Every resource is defined with two levels:
- Models: define capabilities and specs
- Instances: represent your real-world assets
This unlocks granular control, traceability, and automation across your workflow.

Configure your Machines with Precision
Machine models adapt to your production technology.
When creating a machine model, choose a manufacturing type like:
- Additive Manufacturing (FDM, MJF, SLS…)
- Milling, Injection Molding, and more
Each type reveals relevant specs like build size, layer height, or tolerances, depending on the technology selected.
Machine instances include metadata like name, location, and operational status.

Define your Material Capabilities
Material models support powders, filaments, resins, and more.
Choose a material type (e.g., Powder, Filament, Coating…) and fill in key specs:
- Melting point
- Particle size
- Compatible technologies
Material instances let you track stock, SKU, expiration, and storage location, critical for planning and traceability.

Define Compatibility Between Processes and Resources
Make sure the right jobs run on the right machines and materials.
You can now:
- Link machine and material models to each other
- Assign processes to compatible machine/material models
This ensures that your team always selects valid equipment and materials when planning batches.
Stay on top of production with the new Calendar

Visualize and manage batches more easily
The new calendar in the manufacturing section shows batches by day, week, or month.
Quickly create or adjust batches with simplified edits (name and dates) — ideal for daily production control.
