v0.7.6 — Security, Smarter Search
& Manufacturing Configuration
This release introduces enterprise-grade Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), a completely new global search experience, and major improvements to manufacturing process configuration. Together with several quoting enhancements and quality-of-life improvements, v0.7.6 makes Fabrex more secure, easier to navigate, and more flexible for production teams.
Enterprise-grade Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA)
One of the largest security improvements ever introduced in Fabrex.
Organizations can now require Multi-Factor Authentication for all members, while individual users may also enable it voluntarily for additional protection.

Supported authentication methods include:
- Authenticator apps (TOTP)
- Passkeys (WebAuthn)
- Recovery codes
- Administrator recovery for locked-out users
When MFA is enforced, users receive a 14-day enrollment period before it becomes mandatory, allowing organizations to roll out stronger security without disrupting daily work.
Once enabled, Fabrex ensures password resets, account recovery and device management all follow secure MFA verification.

Faster navigation with the new Global Search
Finding information across Fabrex is now dramatically faster.
The new Global Search lets users instantly locate quotes, orders, clients, reports, settings and much more from anywhere in the application.
Search understands:
- Quote IDs
- Order IDs
- Client names
- Pages
- Settings
- Reports
- Categories
- Custom metadata (metafields)
It also supports quick actions, allowing users to create records directly from search results without navigating through menus.
Materials integrated into Process configuration
Manufacturing configuration has been significantly expanded by connecting Resources directly with manufacturing processes.
Administrators can now organize materials into structured families and subfamilies while associating them with process inputs.

Highlights include:
- Material families
- Material subfamilies
- Stock resources
- Process input selection
- Better manufacturing organization
Why it matters
This provides a much more scalable way to configure manufacturing workflows and prepares the foundation for richer inventory and production management.
Refactored Processes management
The Processes area has been redesigned to simplify configuration and improve scalability.

Additional improvements include:
- Better category navigation
- Cleaner information hierarchy
- Improved editing experience
- More scalable configuration interface
Why it matters
The new layout makes it easier to browse categories, configure process groups and manage manufacturing settings from a single workspace.
Flexible lead times and service levels
Configure different service levels for customers and connect them directly with your pricing and lead time calculations.

What's included:
- Create and reorder custom lead time tiers
- Connect service levels with process pricing and lead time formulas
- Configure a base price option alongside service tiers
- Define working days, daily hours and timezone for delivery calculations
- Present service-level choices during quotation
Teams can create options such as Rush, Standard or Economy, then reference the selected tier within process formulas to dynamically calculate prices and lead times. Working schedules—including working days, daily hours and timezone—help translate those calculations into realistic delivery dates.
Additional Improvements

More capable 3D Viewer
The upgraded 3D Viewer brings more tools directly into the model experience, including comments, measurements, layers and manufacturing orientation, making it easier to inspect and collaborate around production files.

Email domain access controls
Control which email domains can connect to your organization. Separate rules for customers and team members make it easier to restrict or allow new connections based on your organization’s access requirements.

Faster access to clients from Batches
The detailed Batch table now includes a clickable Client column. Open the associated client directly in a new tab without leaving your current production view.

Minimum order price improvements
Minimum order pricing is now more clearly reflected throughout the quoting experience, giving teams better visibility into adjustments applied to smaller orders.
